Wonderful property, fantastic location for easy access to the beach. The local manager could not have been nicer to deal with and I certainly would book this property again for a great beach vacation in San Diego.

Overall, the unit did not live up to the online photos. The until was clean, with the exception of the upholstery on chairs and benches which are significantly stained and need to be cleaned. I would avoid an SUV if you plan to park in the garage -- the listing says 7' clearance to enter, the building says a vehicle over 6'6" would not fit, but my 6'4" SUV would not fit due to the steep angle of entry. This left us to fend for parking on the street, which is awful in this area. I would have appreciated a little better description in the listing. Appliances and cooking equipment are very dated. I've rented quite a few places on VRBO, and this is the first review that I've left that wasn't 10/10. From the listing and photos, it looked like the kind of place I typically rent, but it did not live up to it. I would not rent it again. I did contact management about parking suggestions -- the only suggestion I got was to park on the street. If anyone else has this issue, the best place to find parking is a little to the south, on the bay side, on El Carmel going out to the Mission Bay Yacht Club.

Had problems with the hot water heater but did their best to accommodate us for this inconvenience.

The unit was well equipped but very very worn. Upholstery stained, woodwork nicked up everywhere and the underwing cupboard door was off its hinges. Bathrooms were clean as was kitchen. For 10,000 a week we expected a substantially higher level of condition.
