An affordable hotel in a prime, central location right next to the famous clock. The reception is staffed 24/7. The rooms were cozy and clean, equipped with soap and blankets; mine, in particular, opened onto a small terrace shared with other rooms. Despite the central location and the nearby establishments, it is extremely quiet at night—the only sound you’ll hear is the ringing of the church bells. The breakfast—offering both sweet and savory options—is good and very generous; if you eat enough, it gives you more flexibility and helps you save money on lunch. Breakfast is served in the cellar, which is wonderful. On the roof, there’s a balcony where you can smoke and wave "hello" to the visitors up in the clock tower. An excellent hotel for a few nights of an action-packed vacation in Prague. Young and friendly staff.

Impeccable

A bit hard to find at first. It's actually a great location on a narrow street just a few minutes' walk from Astronomical Clock. Nice sized room, nice bathroom, clean, a varied and good breakfast.

We booked a taxi via the hotel desk person who said pickup was at the door. He confirmed twice that the driver will pull up to the door. We decided to pay 20E to avoid crossing the pedestrian square with luggage. However, the driver showed up on foot. We still had to drag our luggage down the narrow street, across the square to the Uber pickup spot. At the airport the driver said the cost was 30E, not 20E. We were misled by the hotel worker and cheated by the taxi driver.

Everything was very clean, comfortable and the location can't be better...right next to Old Town Square but off a small alley. Perfect.
