Haruhoo Resort ISHIGAKI

The room was lovely with a very comfortable bed and pillow (hard to find in Japan sometimes!) and beautiful decor. It was quite spacious and had a balcony with lovely view of the sea. It's a lovely place if you're looking for something quiet and off the beaten track.

The location is about 20 minutes drive from the main town. We could only check in between 3pm and 7pm as no one is there after that. The bar/breakfast were not available for our stay. The pool on the roof is really a jacuzzi and was empty while we were there. There are baths in the room with jacuzzi jets, but it's a standard bath size. The name is a little misleading - it doesn't really have resort facilities.
