Very clean and comfortable , quiet area and good distance to transport

Rioca truly captures the essence of the Brazilian spirit, not only through its décor, breakfast offerings, and caipirinhas at the bar, but mainly through its exceptional staff. They are polite, friendly, and make you feel right at home. I’d like to give a special thanks to Marco, Lidia, Ed, and Francisco, who made my time in Vienna even happier. As for the room I stayed in, it was exactly as shown in the pictures. It had a small kitchen, but the only thing missing was that there were no pans to cook. Aside from that, everything was amazing.

Interesting brazilian design and vibe, relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was good, even if probably overpriced. Standard offer for a hotel of this calibre + some brazilian treats. Everything was fresh most days and coffee was best hotel breakfast coffee I have ever had. In the shower, water pressure was amazingly good. Interesting room features such as an adjustable LED light behind the bed and bluetooth speaker in the bathroom. Hotel is a 5-10 min walk away from train/underground stations, but once at the station, getting to the city centre or to the airport is quick and easy.

Even though reception is staffed, you have to "self check in" on a tablet, filling in a rather long form with your data and taking photo of your passport. After traveling all day, I really, really did not want to do that. If you absolutely want to force guests to do this work for you, send a link ahead of time - it would have been much easier to fill in a form while waiting at the airport. Even so, taking a photo of my passport definitely felt too much like I was at a budget hotel, doing the job for the receptionist. More importantly, cleanliness in the room must be better, especially critical stuff in the bathroom, which was not cleaned sufficiently well from the previous guest. The room is also supposed to be cleaned every 3 days. We got fresh towels, but as far as I noticed, no cleaning was done in the bathroom at all.
