A Beautiful Home Away from Home! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The house was absolutely beautiful! I honestly did not expect it to be this lovely. The interior decoration was stunning, just like walking into a beautifully designed showroom. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, creating a modern, elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The property looks very new, and the cleanliness is exceptional. Everything was spotless, almost as if nobody had ever stayed there before! I was genuinely impressed by how fresh and well-maintained everything looked. The property has only three rooms, all shared, but the concept feels more like an Airbnb with a hostel-style arrangement rather than a typical hostel. The house is spacious and feels just like home. There is Wi-Fi, a TV, and the kitchen facilities are excellent. The bathroom is also spotless and well-equipped, even with a hairdryer. Both the common areas and the rooms are spacious and comfortable. The location is very convenient, with many places within walking distance, making it easy to get around. The self-check-in process was simple and hassle-free, which made everything very convenient. I was genuinely happy staying here and enjoyed my experience so much. The beautiful interior, showroom-like decoration, exceptional cleanliness, spacious rooms and convenient location made my stay wonderful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a beautiful, clean, comfortable and home-like stay. I would happily stay here again!

The only small suggestion would be to provide thicker, fluffier pillows, as my husband found the pillows a little too thin. Having softer, fuller pillows would make the sleeping experience even more comfortable. Other than that, everything was wonderful, and we really enjoyed our stay!

Everything was lovely! The hostel is gorgeous and instantly makes you feel at home. Manuela, the owner, was also incredibly kind and welcoming throughout our stay. If we ever come back to Appenzell, we already know where we’ll be staying! ☺️

Because of some coordinating problem, we got our hostel room upgrade to Boutique Pension. It was nice, elegant and clean. The common place was tidy, lovely and well equipped. The zimmer 3 was spacious and the atmosphere was pleasant. I enjoyed the view from the window. I really like that we can deposit the luggage before check-in and after check-out.

The soundproof was not so good as you could hear people walking around or maybe easily disturb others. The exhaust fan in the bath room was automatically on when the light was on, which was a bit annoying because it did not stop when we went to sleep.
