The location & size/room was very good for our large group of 18. Really enjoyed the hot tub & gazebo in the back yard. Carpets & tile floors needed cleaned, and no cleaning supplies for us to wipe up floors. Some windows weren’t able to be opened so those rooms were very warm. A couple of bedrooms not as represented on site.

The house is nice and we enjoyed ourselves very much. Some of the kitchen appliances were not working properly during our stay

The house was fine for our extended family of 15. The teenagers took over the basement while the little kids spread out in the living spaces on the first floor. As mentioned in other posts, some of the windows did not open and we sometimes had to search for cranks to open the ones that did. The overall maintenance could be improved. Cabinet doors were loose and the kitchen floor was grimy. The table in the dining area needed to be scrubbed. An inventory of the kitchen pots and pans, bowls, spoons, etc. needs to be taken. We ended up buying plastic spoons so everyone could have one to use. There were just little things that came up. Nothing major was wrong, it is just an older house with older house issues. Overall, the location was great. We did use the shuttle into town and twice a moose wandered through the backyard. We used the backyard and gazebo, but not the dining tables. The tables were not set up as in the pictures and there were no chairs.

The house served our needs adequately, however the property is in need of several repairs and much needed maintenance.
