Hostel Oliwka - Metro Świętokrzyska

Oliwka is a hostel with a large occupant capacity. Breakfast was not served to anybody at Oliwka. There is no ventilation in my dorm room which had eight beds. During August, it became fairly warm and stuffy, there was no ceiling fan to circulate the air. The garbage can in the dining and kitchen room did not have a lid on it which attracted a lot of flying bugs which then flew around into my food and face. The cleaning crew did the work every day to their best of their ability. Many guests there don't believe in flushing the toilet after using it, or washing their hands after using the toilet, which is not Oliwka's fault but makes me wonder about visiting to Oliwka again. The light bulbs by the beds should be brighter, not yellow and dim. The nights were cooling off in September but the heating system was not activated.

Great stuff, good facilities and excelent location. You can get to most of the important places by foot, close is mcdonald and other 24/7 food restaurants.

Showers were bit undervelming.

Cleaning ladies clean rooms perfectly. Even on the top of the drawer and bottom of the beds all cleaned every morning. And kitchen is always clean not only once a day they clean the kitchen several times a day. The best Ukranian workers !!! Tea and coffee are free and the instant coffee they use for us was the most expensive good instant coffee I was surprised because even if it was cheap one none complains ,,,,

It is not hostel problem but some guests watch Video Youtube on phone at public place with loud speaker sounds.

Location

Room had strange smell The facility is old Kitchen is in terrible condition, including corroded tea kettle (inside). I felt like I'm back in Soviet times, school dormitory.
