4 STARS ROOMS Near Airport

There were several aspects we really enjoyed, including the creative room layout featuring a stylish bathroom enclosed in glass walls. The property also had a lovely courtyard and the convenience of private parking. Additionally, the location is ideal for travelers needing quick access to the airport.

The owner was responsive and quickly resolved a room mix-up, but our night was quite disrupted. Around 10 PM, another guest mistakenly tried to push our door open twice while talking loudly on the phone in the corridor. While the host settled it in minutes, the incident interfered with our sleep; I became aware of the airport sounds and could hear the planes til I fell back asleep. Additionally, my husband noticed his pillow did not feel completely fresh (as it seemed to carry a noticeable feminine fragrance), making him wonder if the pillowcase had been freshly laundered.

The host was very welcoming and friendly. The room looked great - simple but stylish.Our first thought was that this place is a little gem and that we'd love to stay there many more times. We loved the bathroom with the glass wall, especially the spacious shower that was a real pleasure to use. We appreciated some details like good quality towels, a kettle, and some tea and coffee. The location is excellent, 6 min from the airport, but very calm and silent at night.

Everything was perfect until bedtime. The mattresses were hard and uncomfortable (we could feel the springs), the covers were too thin, which we didn't think was a problem, initially, because the central heating did a great job. However, we woke up in the middle of the night, shivering, only to realise that the heating had been turned off (we haven't been told that would happen at any point). We turned on the AC on heating mode, and that helped, but it was very noisy.
