The reception staff were not friendly at all. Room was located in a building about 1/10 of a mile down the road from the main hotel. No assistance with luggage. No amenities in that building, however, the room was clean and very large. Be warned, there is NO air conditioning in the rooms. We were there mid-June and it was over 80°F in the room when we went to sleep! No top sheets, just a heavy comforter, seems to be a Europe thing.

Clean room, beautiful Rhine river views from the room, delicious breakfast with a specially decorated table for our anniversary and wine gift! Some confusion at check in about the room in apartment down the street while we had thought we had booked at the main hotel Overall a great stay overlooking the Rhine River!

Beautiful hotel and setting. We stayed in an apartment which is off-sight from the hotel, which we didn’t realize, however, I would choose that stay again. The apartment was clean, nicely decorated and spacious with a balcony facing the river. We didn’t utilize the spa but did take time to tour it. Beautiful and definitely a relaxing atmosphere.
