Great hotel.

This still operates as a 'love hotel' as well as a tourist hotel but it is very discreet and the love hotel aspect did not impinge on our 4 night stay at all. The hotel is very clean, reasonably modern and the room we had was huge with a nice relaxing space and very quiet despite being in a lively part of town. On that point - the hotel is on the edge of the red-light district but never felt unsafe; go one block one way and your in the red light district, go the other way and you wouldn't know you were near it.
Three metro stations within 8 minutes walk, including the very confusing Shinjuku station.
One thing here is you very rarely meet any staff - at the small front desk they are behind frosted glass but this didn't present any problems.

They have a large room. Large shower and a very large hot tub. Plus, sauna. A SAUNA. Very worth it for couples or solo travellers. Please be mindful that this is designed as a love hotel. But, very safe and very convenient to bars and restaurants.
