Hotel Restaurant Bujtina e Gjelit

What a find! An Oasis behind the hectic roads, beeping horns and chaos of Tirana. Such lovely staff, great traditional food - freshly delivered from the farm (we saw it arriving) and prepared and cooked within sight. Very helpful and informative staff. Clean rooms, not full of all mod-cons but very comfy bed and good linen. We wanted to be close to airport and did not need to venture out for anything so it was perfect.

The welcome, the pool with sun loungers great in the morning sun, the location & the Fish Time restaurant just down Dom Bosco.

The location was perfect. The pool lovely after a hot day. The rooms large and comfortable.

The staff were ok but not as described it other reviews. Wifi wasn’t working and it felt it was our problem not theirs. The breakfast was ok but nothing fancy or exceptional. Either we were at the end of the season and staff were tired. The cleaning lady was very helpful though and sorted out our wifi. So all in all not huge issues but just observations from us.

Food was the best thing. The staff was next best, and the location was good. I hated the mattress. I woke up with back pain every day. They close at night. We had an issue with the lights only to find then gone for the day.

Bad mattress that didn't fit. No microwave just a fridge so we can't reheat leftovers..
