Uniquely centered steps from the famous Catédral St. Nicholas... Museums, Dining, College St. Michel, historic / Medieval charm and absolutely one-of-its-kind architectural details. We started taking pix of the "Doors of Fribourg" and then "the Windows of Fribourg" as a lark.
The breakfast was a bit expensive, but delicious and expansive. Frankly, a breakfast could serve one for two meals with good proteins, fruit, and delicious pastries of all kinds.

Room was clean and had everything you’d need in a tourist class hotel and more: comfortable bed, desk and chair, separate chair and coffee table, free WiFi, and in-room coffee. Gracious front-desk staff, great location near the old town, and even a free upgrade because the hotel wasn’t full. A great value in a tourist hotel! Would stay there again!

I was traveling for business and had a meeting early on a Monday morning, and I felt very fortunate to discover Hotel De La Rose. It met my needs perfectly - convenient to public transportation, easy to find, with friendly staff and a very comfortable room. I loved the crisp white linens on the bed and the windows that opened to a quiet courtyard area. Even though I had to leave very early (before breakfast was served) little touches in the room like a bottle of water, a kettle, and coffee and tea made me feel at home during my brief stay. I would definitely return next time I'm in town.
