Staff and amenities were excellent. Friendly and accommodating. The breakfast buffet is great. The salad buffet is also quite good. The main course for dinner was average. That’s about the only non-positive comment.

Castel Rundegg is an old fashioned hotel in the very best sense. It is a beautiful building in a most beautiful town, with comfortable public areas and spacious well appointed bedrooms. Those who are looking for discos and fast food options might choose elsewhere, but it does offer superb cuisine, stunning gardens and an old world elegance. It also boasts extensive pool, sauna and spa treatments. We look forward to returning there.
