The rooms are basic but passable. The facilities are excellent. Beer garden on the banks of the Rhine. Very good breakfast.

My husband and I stayed at Das Ebertor Hotel for 3 days. It was a perfect place to explore the Rhine region. Access to trains is a 2 minute walk so easy to get to other towns. KD ferry dock is just out front on the promenade making it super convenient. Breakfast was lovely and a nice way to start the day. Rooms were really clean and spacious. We looked out over the river...spectacular! Great place for a home base

Set adjacent to the river, this motel style hotel is perfect for exploring the local area. A short walk to the town center or river cruise berth. Ample car parking right outside your room door. A fantastic outdoor bar and food area by the river. Breakfast is good quality and plentiful. Its our 2nd stay here which says it all. Only small downside.... some of the staff in reception can be a little curt
