We went for stag do and found that location wise it was perfect. The Breakfast wouldn't meet the standards for everyone but for what you pay there was no complaints. There are also plenty of alternative places within walking distance if you want to get food. We also visited Siam Park which is about a 10/15 minute walk from reception but be prepared as it's uphill.
The reception staff were great and polite and the pool was big and warm. It did look like they had some Childrens entertainment there and they advertised a foam party, I wouldn't regret staying there again.

Check in was an ordeal, took over 30 mins to check in.

Only negative was that the selfcatering apartment we had was a little tired (needed new grouting in bathroom and loose veneer etc). The rest of the hotel looked in good order including the dining area. The staff were wonderful and the food was great. Useful that they have shops built into the ground floor, so easy to pick up food etc.
Very close to the beach which was great.
