We had a wonderful stay at Hachijo View Hotel. The room was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and having a smart TV was a nice addition. The swimming pool was also very clean and enjoyable. Breakfast was delicious with a good selection, and we were very happy with the overall service. The staff were kind, welcoming, and extremely helpful throughout our stay, which made our experience even better. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hachijo View Hotel to anyone visiting Hachijojima. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Breakfast was scrumptious! Lovely variety of small dishes, and ready for you on the table. Friendly staff.

The carpet in my room was horribly stained. I had booked last minute and grabbed the last room available, which was a non-smoking tatami room for 3. When I was checking in though, the front desk offered me the opportunity to switch to a smaller room but with beds. I did. Big mistake. The new room was a smoking room. Thought I would be ok as it was just one night, but the smell got to me after a while. Windows did not open so I could not ventilate the place. Learnt my lesson - will double check next time!!
