Bed a bit small

Close to the old town, convenient by walking. Apartment clean, bed is comfortable, with a balcony also quite nice. Building is safe as it needs a password to assess. Host was very kind to let me leave my luggage in the apartment or a safe in the building, before check in and after check out. Host very responsive and reachable.

The ladder to the 3rd level may be harder for people carrying larger suitcases or people with less mobility, this is the only point I think those who may be concerned would need to evaluate before their booking :)

Nothing to mention

It was an interesting buulding in an interesting, though mainly residential setting. Most of facilities were good. Lady was helpful and booked a taxi for me for return to Lille Europe.

I must stress that this apartment is unsuitable for elderly, disabled or young children because of potentially dangerous access via very narrow, steep wooden spiral staircase with no handrail. Bedroom has similar narrow wooden stairs up to it with handrail not going whole way. Bathroom is on living floor and so very awkward at night. I slept on sofa as a result. Balcony is off bedroom. Instructions, especially about nearest supermarket, were not good. I got information from a local business person.
