Location was perfect, so easy for Florence and the train station to explore the rest of Italy. it was spacious and comfortable. Plus, quiet. It was quirky and we enjoyed. The air conditioning was welcome especially in the August heat. Washing machine and dishwasher very useful.
There were 2 bathrooms, but only 1 of the showers worked. We reported it on our first day but was told that it needed the owner to okay fixing it and it wouldn’t be done during our stay.
It would have been better to have had a bigger sofa for the 4 of us. It is only a 2 seater in the apartment, with 1 arm chair. Otherwise you needed to sit on a dining chair.

It is in a quiet street, close to the train station. Large rooms, 2 full baths, dining+living room and kitchen. Beds are ok. There is also a washing machine and dishwasher which are a plus. I would choose it again when in Florence.
The check in is at 16,00, which for me, arriving in Florence at 9,00 in the morning meant that I had to walk around for about 7 hours before I could check in. Also, the property asked about the estimated arrival time because the check is in persona; but this means you have to meet one of the people at the property so, either you wait for them or they wait for you in the apartment. Self check in would be much more easier for both parties.

Apartment was nice and spacious and great for families. However strong smell of sewerage ruined out stay which got worse as time went on.
The check in process was horrendous. We were told someone would meet us on arrival at 9:30pm onto to arrive and be told "no one is coming" and we need to collect keys from an office 45 mins away. Not ideal at 10pm at night when you have a baby and a toddler - stranded on the streets of Florence stuck outside an apartment. When we finally got hold of them calling an Italian number we were told by the gentleman " that he didn't care and had finished his shift". Absolutely terrible experience. Luckily someone came 2 hours late but we nearly had to go and find a hotel nearby. No idea why they couldn't just have a lockbox like everyone else.
