Our vacation home, “Villa Edelstein,” consists of two living units that are physically separated from one another by a connecting door.
The house has two separate entrances and three floors. Total area: 240 m²
It features a large terrace and three balconies, as well as a very large 4,000 m² garden with areas for sunbathing and barbecuing.
Here, you can fully enjoy the peace and nature of the national park.
Excellent transportation links to Hahn Airport (just 25 km away) and Idar-Oberstein (9 km). Ideal for a relaxing vacation in both summer and winter, with plenty of recreational activities for all ages. Activities include hiking, jogging, rock climbing,
Nordic walking park, mountain biking, horseback riding, golf, skiing, summer toboggan run (Erbeskopf), canoeing and railbike tours (Glan), leisure and water park (Hambachtal), and collecting minerals and fossils....

Highly recommend this booking.

A lovely, well-equipped house in a stunning location with its own fabulous garden. Brilliant for our family group of 10. Lots to do locally. The gem museum, gem mine, Celtic settlement were great trips and the open-air swimming pool in Rhaunen was much enjoyed. We visited Herrstein twice! Klaus and Anna were really helpful hosts. Highly recommended.

The house and garden are very nice, spacious and reletively cool during the heat. Garden is just fantastic...you can walk for bread but need to drive for everything else but that is no problem in this area, many sights to see And visit

Thank you Klaus and Anna for a warm welcome to your Villa. My wife and three teenage children had a wonderful week here. We enjoyed the confortable house and exploring the large garden. We enjoy walking in the countryside and found the area ideal. We walked through the forest to Wildenburg hopf and across countryside to the beautiful town of Herrstein. The routes are very well marked for cycling and walking. We were very happy to have chosen this villa for our holiday. Regards from Martin and Sharon.
