This brand-new apartment (new for the 2011 vacation season—built in our vacation home, Villa Karglhof) consists of an entryway with a coat closet, a large living/dining room, a kitchen, 2 separate bedrooms, one children’s room (attic), a bathroom (with an infrared sauna, shower, and toilet), a children’s bathroom (attic: with a sink and toilet), and a beautiful south-facing balcony.

Unwind and enjoy your winter vacation with your family in Carinthia on Lake Faaker See in our new MAIN HOUSE or the VILLA. Winter sports, relaxation, and recreation in the Lake Faaker See leisure, sports, and vacation region in Carinthia. Just a few kilometers from the Karglhof, countless ski runs at high altitudes with guaranteed snow await, sure to set the hearts of winter sports enthusiasts of all ages racing. You’ll find fantastic slopes, deep-snow runs, snowboard parks, rustic mountain huts, and sun-drenched terraces. Local ski schools provide the perfect support for children and parents alike. But skiing isn’t everything: those who prefer to zoom downhill on a toboggan will get just as much out of it as curling players and ice skaters on the frozen Aichwaldsee. There are also extensive cross-country trails through the Rosental Valley, snowshoeing opportunities, horse-drawn sleigh rides through the glittering winter landscape, long winter walks…—or a good old-fashioned snowball fight. The nearby Warmbad Villach thermal spa also offers a variety of activities for winter days.

On-site costs: Included in the price are spa and lodging taxes, a private beach, a sunbathing lawn, lounge chairs, table tennis, a guest grill, and a new, huge children’s playground (located next to the new main building—approx. 200 m from our villa and approx. 2,400 m from our bungalows): featuring several swings, slides, a sandbox, children’s tractors, go-karts, tricycles, and many other vehicles; snack corner with berries, soccer field, volleyball/badminton court, zip line, foosball room, air hockey room, petting zoo, and much more), LED satellite TV, free Wi-Fi, as well as dishes, a coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, microwave, electric stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, bed linens, hand towels, and dish towels, and a safe; Elevator serving all floors (in our main building), etc. The lakeside bungalows are also equipped with a tiled stove or a wood-burning stove. Our large private beach is, of course, perfectly suited for children. On the beautiful, gently sloping sandy beach, children can build sandcastles and, of course, have plenty of opportunities to play both in the sun and in the shade. If needed, we’re happy to provide a crib and a high chair. When you’re on vacation, there’s always a lot of laundry to do. Upon request, you can wash your laundry here.

Check-in is from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and check-out is from 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM.
