Only one shower-bath. Would have liked more western beds

The villa is in an excellent location overlooking Lake Ashi. It was spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable and spacious, and had everything you could need. There was a great view over the lake, especially from the top balcony. Check in was very smooth. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The villa is located very close to a 7-11 (24 hour opening), Moto-Hakone bus stop, the pirate ship and several restaurants. It is a few minutes walk to Hakone Shrine. The bath was very comfortable and a welcome treat at the end of a busy day exploring this beautiful area.

This is the most stunning house! Staying here was such a pleasure. It is architecturally magnificent and the design details are perfect! Extensive views of the lake and a short walk to catch Fuji at sunrise! A 2 minutes to the pirate ship to start the loop of Hakone region. 7 eleven just near by with a good range for dinner. The house comes with its own onsen. And once we got it hot and filled we all enjoyed it! Huge projector screen to watch movies in the evening and we got lucky and had a surprise fireworks display on the lake in full view from the balcony and upstairs rooms! It is huge and very accommodating and comfortable for the 10 of us. A very special treat on our trip to Japan!

I would not hesitate to return. This place is stunning. I would say that some of the floor level heaters had quite a kerosene smell and it was cold during our stay so needed all the heating to be turned on. The bathroom is chilly in winter if you don't have the onsen filled. But we got it figured out and it warmed the bathroom/shower area nicely.

一階和室の襖の建て付け悪く、閉まらなかった。 虫が多かった。
