Sehr geschmackvoll und zentrale Lage

Perfect location. Beautiful building, but it is undergoing redecorating inside the main areas including the stairwell, which when finished will look spectacular. We'll love to see the end result. Maybe.one day. Handy lift to the 4th floor. The apartment is clean, has 3 balconies, washing machine, double glazed new french doors and a comfortable bed. New kitchen and clean bathroom. Plenty of cupboard and storage, steam iron and comfortable sofa. Overall it was ok and we really loved the location. Great coffee 1 min walk, Pub 99. Aircon in bedroom and living room was very welcomed.

Already discussed with the host. All good. Nice guy.

Foarte bine amplasat apartamentul, curat, bine dotat; accesul foarte rapid,cu ascensor și/sau pe scări. Un raport calitate-preț EXCELENT 👍

The apartment was large and spacious. Modernised but in an old building. Situated on the 4th floor (there is an elevator) and on a street corner, the main rooms all had "french windows" and small balconies, which was great for light and looking down onto the bustling streets below. They were all double glazed so quiet at night. The location is very close to Via Roma (and so a lot of the main attractions) and not far to the port.

Dropping off luggage was difficult. You have to double park a car (not a problem in Palermo!) outside the property and then go and find street parking somewhere. We did find some in a less desirable area but in the end opted for garaging the rental car for 3 nights (100 euros) for peace of mind. Having said that, we chose to have a city centre location and thought this might be a problem. We walked or used buses to get around for our stay. Some of the kitchen equipment and utensils needed to be cleaned before being used! This was probably the fault of previous guests but should be checked more closely. We never met the host. We got Whatsapp messages from him but sometimes there was a delay in him responding!
