Kaku Studio Apartment Ikebukuro

Close to convenience stores and many restaurants in Ikebukuro. About a 10-15min walk from the station. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Property was clean, bed was comfortable and had air conditioning. Owner was friendly and responsive in messages, and also gave us good recommendations on activities in Tokyo

Make sure to check size or room/bathroom because bathroom is extremely small. No shower curtain so the entire bathroom stays wet and damp unless the whole bathroom is wiped after taking a shower. Also makes it difficult to dry wet towels. Entrance is narrow so difficult to get in and out, but all this is advertised on the room plans in the listing

The location is close to the Ikebukuro station ( around 10 - 15 minutes by walking )

Nothing to say - everything was perfect

I liked how the interior was modernized, it was cute. It was great to have 3 towels per person, and a place to hang clothes. The host was really nice and gave good tips on what to do and where to eat in Ikebukuro. We especially loved Tenka Sushi!

Walking 17 minutes to Ikebukuro station everyday was tiring, but in the night it can be exciting. The apartment was quite dark and smelled a little musty. Also the apartment was smaller than I thought, not bigger than a hotel room. But considering the price all in all it was a good place to stay, we felt like a local living in Tokyo.

localization

smaller than expected, but ok for one person.
