Grand Hotel Bristol By Stay Collection

The location was excellent and staff were super helpful and friendly.

I ended up upgrading my room to the new section, which was lovely. But the first room was very dated, and that part of the hotel seemed like it was under renovations. The reason for the upgrade was that the exterior blinds didn’t seem to work, and the curtains were not blackout. The hotel itself is a bit of a walk from the areas that you would want to explore, although very convenient for the train station. The staff were lovely, and the breakfast was decent.

We really enjoyed this hotel and had a lovely stay. The air conditioning worked very well! The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hotel restaurant was excellent as well. The convenience of being right by the train station made it a great jumping off point for travels throughout the region. It was a bit of a walk to the old town, but we were there during a heatwave. It probably wouldn’t have felt so far in better weather. There is a free tourist bus that runs around town during the day. Also - the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable!

The location from train is a huge plus to unload everything before heading into beautiful Colmar. I have been many times and this is the first time I opted to stay near train station. I am glad I did this and will do it again. Clean and newly renovated with a friendly staff.
