The overall quality of the hotel was good for its rating. The room was spacious and comfortable. (The speed of the free Internet was slow.)
The distance from the main tourist attractions is not far, but it took quite long to drive there because of traffic congestions during most part of the day.

Only improvement would be air conditioning it was hot and no way to cool down

Hotel.is right off the autobahn and kind of on the edge of Salzburg, but the bus stop is right across the street. The #6 bus takes you right down into the historic district and back...about 15 minutes. Very clean, large rooms, very comfortable and about 50 Euros cheaper than the ones closer to the center of Salzburg. Breakfast about average for a German hotel. I'd be more than willing to stay there again

"A wonderful old hotel with public transportation right across the street. Easy to get downtown and see all of the sights. The owners were very friendly and helpful."
