Come take a trip back in time. The Manoir de Maubert (Insolites à Chimay) welcomes you to a historic setting. Wooden ceilings with exposed beams, others with brick vaults, paneled walls, floors made of local stone or French terracotta tiles, unique fireplaces, characterful furnishings, bedrooms with castle-style alcoves, and windows with colorful stained glass. In short, this place is like no other. Yet comfort is not compromised: central heating (radiators), a wood-burning stove in the dining room, an open fireplace in the living room, a modern XXL shower, a fully equipped kitchen, a large-screen TV with all channels plus Netflix, and free Wi-Fi. A large private terrace with furniture and access to the shared garden—featuring a sauna (available for rent at €20 per hour), a Nordic hot tub at room temperature (heated depending on weather conditions between April and September), a petanque court, and a relaxation area—are all at your disposal. The Manoir is located in a very quiet and peaceful village, and our guests come here to escape the noise and stress of everyday life. We therefore make it a point of honor to respect your privacy, because even though they are set apart, our two trailers are on the same property.
