Unfortunately, we had a mixed experience during our stay at Urbis Apartment. The biggest issue was the ventilation. The windows could not be opened, which made the apartment feel very humid and stuffy. The humidity was so high that our swimwear and towels hardly dried at all. The air conditioning also worked poorly in one of the apartments, which made the situation even less comfortable. There were also no proper drying facilities for towels and swimwear, and no suitable rack or other practical storage for our suitcases. On the positive side, the kitchen was well equipped with the essentials, and the bathroom was new, modern and inviting. The staircase leading up to the apartments was, however, very steep and quite dirty, which did not make a particularly good first impression. Overall, we think the apartment has good potential, but the ventilation, air conditioning, drying facilities and cleanliness of the common areas should be improved to make the stay more comfortable.

We had a fantastic stay and would happily stay here again. The location is excellent, right in the centre of the Old Town, with everything you need. It couldn’t have been more convenient for exploring the area. Check-in and check-out were incredibly easy thanks to the key lockbox and host instructions so we could arrive and leave whenever it suited us without any hassle. The apartment itself was beautiful, spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The kitchenette and fridge were really useful, the air conditioning worked perfectly, and the shower was spacious with plenty of hot water. We honestly couldn’t fault the accommodation. The host was also excellent. She was easy to contact via WhatsApp and was always available if we needed anything. The only thing worth mentioning is that, because the apartment is so centrally located and we stayed Friday & Saturday night, it was really noisy at night. If you’re a light sleeper, it may be worth bringing some earplugs! That said, we felt the fantastic location more than made up for it. Overall, a wonderful place to stay that we would highly recommend.

It was a spacious updated room. I enjoyed it. The few drawbacks; noisy at night and stairs but to be expected. Oh, did I mention there are many stairs?
