We had a 6 night stay at Lake Life in St Gilgen, a fabulous little town on the Wolfgangsee. We were accorded excellent weather which allowed us to enjoy all the attractions of the area. Lake Life was a great base for this. The apartment was quite spacious with all the amenities that we needed, a well-appointed kitchen which we only used once, a bathroom which included the washing machine which we certainly used, a bedroom with plenty of storage and a lounge which gave us plenty of room to relax in. St Gilgen centre was just under a 10 minute walk from the apartment and we were quite happy about that as it let us enjoy the delights of the town. There were a number of good restaurants, especially Wirt am Gries, and we had good breakfasts at the Obauer Backerei. All in all, a great place for a holiday and we were sad to leave.

If we are being really picky, we would have preferred a walk-in shower, rather than one in the bath but that wasn't really a problem.

Útulný, plně vybavený apartmán, starší, ale zrekonstruovaný a čistý, dostatek místa pro čtyřčlennou rodinu, v klidné lokalitě a soukromí. Do centra a k jezeru velmi příjemná procházka asi 10-15minut. Hned vedle apartmánu se nachází supermarket.

Nemáme co vytknout.

This place had almost everything on my wishlist for a great base - convenient location, short walking distance to town center, grocery store almost next door, a good size and well equipped kitchen, big fridge, washing machine, cozy beddings, spacious apartment, and a responsive host.

My only wishlist was a toaster but it was not part of the amenities which I knew beforehand, but would have been nice to have one.
