avid hotel West Memphis by IHG

Spot on for simple and no frills.

No problems though not sure about the lack of a microwave.

Very nice room. Comfortable. Easy to find, plenty of parking. Nice breakfast.

Facilities were as i am accustomed to.

The staff was extremely non customer focused. On every staff interaction, they provided very short kurt, answers or did not look you in the face. Seemingly had the attitude that addressing customer needs was an extreme bother to them. In short, you may say they were rude.

Loved all the hooks and knobs to hang bags and avoid having everything on the floor. Breakfast was varied, and staff were helpful.

Noise. Sooooo much noise from other guests, walls and ceilings are paper thin so we heard walking, talking, music, dogs barking, and then all the vehicular sounds of being where it’s located. We use sound machines and earplugs and this still did not solve the problem, so sleep was poor, despite room being comfy and clean.
