Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family of five spent a lovely week at this spacious cottage in the Wellfleet woods. The house was well-equipped, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. The open floor plan allowed for great family time and the full kitchen was a pleasure to prepare meals in when staying in. We loved exploring the paths that led to the bay, hopping onto the bike trail a short ride away, and visiting the majestic ocean beaches of the Upper Cape. The setting was tranquil... a great place for nature and bird lovers. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We hope to return next year.

Location was quiet amd very good spot if you primarily spend your time on the Outer Cape. However windows should be kept closed (during this season?). When we arrived, they were open (did have screens in them) and the house was filled with midges. We had to close everything up and go buy bug spray to get rid of them because they bite! After that it was fine.

Place had a very big master bedroom upstairs. 2 bathrooms, which were clean, a nice porch in the back yard very private, just what we wanted pretty cool house which had basement storage for our bicycles.we'll try to rent it again

Down a quiet sandy road lined with scrub pines, you’ll find this quaint Wellfleet home, full of rustic charm and creative energy. The bookshelves are filled with beautiful design, art, and fiction, along with historical books about the Cape and beyond; a reflection of the owner’s clear appreciation for the history of Cape Cod.The location is close to everything the Outer Cape has to offer. We spent relaxing days enjoying both bay and ocean beaches, the flea market, the drive-in, the Audubon sanctuary, and so many great Wellfleet restaurants. The house had everything we needed.It is a rustic home (which we love about true Cape Cod houses), so expect an occasional spider and bathrooms that are more functional than luxurious (perfect for sandy feet and sun-tired kids). For us, that just added to the charm.This part of the Cape feels magical to us, and this home was a wonderful part of our time here. The property manager was also very kind and responsive.
