Remon House Asakusa Tokyo

We really enjoyed our stay at Remon House. Best location (very close to train station) for our first time in Tokyo. The bed was very comfy and we were very happy to be able to have a coffee on the rooftop to start our day and watch the hustle and bustle in the strees frim above. The stairs are steep, but not a problem with our backpacks. The room was really spacious for Japanese standards. We would definitely stay there again.

We would have appreciated a little more equipment in the kitchen (e.g. two glasses, two plates, a cutting board, knife, kitchen towel) and the toilet seat was a little loose on one side, but that can be fixed easily.

Location was a winner. There was also a rooftop which you can see the sky tree from.

The walls were a bit thin. Could hear people coming and going.

It got good location and best smoking area. View from rooftop, atmosphere made us come back after stay last year. Comfortable bad, generally clean. Check restaurant on the first floor in building, it’s good.

It had strong bad smell and looked very old. They don’t provide you proper place to hang your towels to dry them. It has bad sound isolation, you literally hear snoring from room nearby. Check in time is 15;00, but I received my code closer to 16:00. Host does not reply really quick.
