Great location, facilities were very good. Kitchen was well equipped and had clean utensils ready for use. Air conditioning worked. TV worked and could connect to the internet. WiFi had good speeds and was easy to connect to. Extraction fan in bathroom also worked well. Host was also very welcoming and understanding, and happy to answer questions!

Many mosquitoes in the area, and therefore in the apartment - host was kind enough to provide a mosquito repellent diffuser which plugs into the wall. Some walls and floor areas were dusty and had not been cleaned in a while. There was no easily identifiable kitchen knife for general use - there was mainly a bread knife and a curved fillet knife. Due to rubbish disposal being special in Venice, it was an unexpected challenge that the spazzini did not knock at the door or yell to state that rubbish collection was around at times. This isn't a fault of the apartment itself, maybe it's the location? The doorbell is broken/removed, so maybe that might be the reason why. Double bed is two mattresses pushed together.
