The Pension Friedlich is located in Schönau am Königssee, just 3 km from the idyllic Königssee. The guesthouse has been run by the Kastner family for over 50 years. We, your hosts Rudolf Kastner and his daughter Nadine Schmuck, are happy to rent you our wonderful vacation apartments! You can always count on us for helpful tips on day trips and hikes, as well as other information—after all, as “locals,” we know the area inside and out and want to help you get to know our “Hoamat” a little better. Our vacation apartments offer you the perfect starting point in both summer and winter: In summer, you can set out directly from the house in hiking boots or on a bike. In winter, you’ll find a cross-country ski trail and a ski lift right in front of the house—ideal for wonderful winter fun. A special “treat”—year-round, you can book diving excursions or trips to distant destinations through the Kastner Diving School, located right in the building. And don’t forget the bobsled and toboggan run, as well as the famous salt mine.
Our fully equipped vacation apartment offers plenty of space to relax. Whether on the terrace, the balcony, or in the cozy sitting area—this is the perfect place to plan your excursions. All of our vacation apartments are equipped with a shower/toilet, satellite TV, and a balcony or terrace.
