Cefalù is a wonderful town located 65 km from Palermo. Cefalù boasts a 2-km-long seaside promenade, beautiful beaches, and a breathtaking cliffside that not only offers great swimming but also a walking path connecting the old pier to the lighthouse. Cefalù is also well-connected to the Aeolian Islands—Lipari, Panarea, Stromboli, Vulcano, Salina, Alicudi, and Filicudi—which can be reached by hydrofoils departing daily from the Cefalù marina. Cefalù is also very close to Madonie Park and the Piano Battaglia ski area.
