Summary:
Enjoy staying in the heart of the Marais with this charming 2-bedroom apartment located on the 2nd floor of a secure residential building — NO LIFT. Self check-in from 3:00 PM by collecting keys at a nearby location. Wi-Fi is available, great for both work and leisure. A refundable damage deposit is required.
The Space:
Welcome to this charming 70 m² 2-bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor of a building without a lift, perfectly situated on Boulevard du Temple in the heart of the Marais. The apartment is professionally cleaned before every arrival so you can settle in straight away.
Master Bedroom: 1 Queen bed, Bedroom 2: 1 double bed, Living Room: 1 double sofa bed. The bathroom has both a shower and a bathtub.
The living area is a great space to unwind, with a flat-screen tv and dining table and chairs.
The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need: full fridge, oven, microwave, stove, drip coffee machine, and electric kettle and toaster. A washing machine is available for your convenience. The flat has gas heating throughout the cooler months.

Need a cot or high chair? We can arrange it for your arrival — just let us know after booking:
- Baby cot — €50 for the stay
- High chair — €50 for the stay
- Both together — €70 for the stay
Good to know before you book
Check-in: From 3:00 PM via self check-in — simply collect the keys at a nearby location. If you’re arriving after 7:00 PM and need someone to meet you with the keys, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance. Late arrivals between 7:00–9:59 PM incur a €50 fee; 10:00 PM–12:59 AM is €90; after 1:00 AM is €120. Please note that any late check-in fee must be paid in cash upon arrival. We’re flexible when we can be — just give us a heads-up!
Check-out: By 10:00 AM.
Damage deposit: A refundable damage deposit of €800 is required before arrival. It may be processed via a third-party payment provider such as Stripe, Swikly, or Flywire. The deposit is returned in full within 14 days of check-out following a standard inspection.
Max guests: 6 people (including children and infants). Please keep within this limit so everyone is comfortable.
Smoking: The apartment is non-smoking throughout.
Events: The apartment is a private home and not suitable for parties or events.
Guest Access:
The accommodation is private and exclusively for guests during their stay. Free Wi-Fi connection, information on Paris and restaurant recommendations, sheets, towels, soaps and much more.

The 3rd arrondissement forms the northern part of the historic Marais district, one of Paris’s most characterful and sought-after neighbourhoods. Known for its beautiful 17th-century architecture, independent boutiques, contemporary art galleries, and a strong community of designers and artisans, the Marais offers a lively mix of old and new. The neighbourhood is walkable, packed with great restaurants and cafés, and close to some of Paris’s best cultural venues including the Centre Pompidou and Place des Vosges.
Getting Around:
Filles du Calvaire (Line 8), République (Lines 3, 5, 8, 9, 11)
Other Things to Note:
Wi-Fi may occasionally be affected by area-wide connectivity issues. Please note a noise monitoring device is installed at the property entrance for extra security and to ensure the peace of the property. This device is not located in any sleeping area or bathroom. Photos are as accurate as possible — minor updates may not always be reflected immediately. Management may occasionally need access to the property for inspection, maintenance or viewings (between 8:00 AM and 7:00 PM with reasonable notice). In genuine emergencies, access may be required without prior notice. We’ll always communicate as much as possible and be respectful of your stay.
Interaction with Guests:
You will have the property all to yourself during your stay. We are available by email phone should you require assistance during your stay.

The apartment was large, clean, and well-appointed. My children and I loved the charm and location. Other reviews mentioned the older floors and the noise, but the floors didn't bother us (we brought slippers) and we didn't find the apartment too noisy considering Paris is a major city. The apartment is convenient to the metro and walkable to many attractions. Check-in and out was easy. The only issues we had with the apartment were that the microwave was too high up for us to use, but that's a minor issue, and the remote control for the streaming tv wasn't in the apartment. We contacted the host, and they replied very promptly about bringing one to the apartment, but we were so busy seeing Paris that we did not follow up on this. I'd strongly recommend this apartment.

Big picture: Fair price for what you get and pretty accurate description of property on VRBO description. Family of 4 (2x 40-year olds 2x teenagers) five day stay was a solid rental for us. Property and district are good (not excellent...but baked into pricing). A few things renters need to know that may not be obvious from description:1) Biggest thing: There is no stand up shower. Will repeat - no stand up shower. Sooo...if you kind of expect that as a traveler, heh, not here! Tub with flexible shower attachment. Our family reacquainted ourselves with tub bathing/showering and did just fine but be aware!2) Previous review is on point - for some visitors second floor with narrow staircase, uneven floor, and no stand up shower can be dealbreakers.3) Checkin process is jenky and all contactless with owner. Getting keys from a lockbox down the street *in the laundromat* (address instructions didn't match lockbox location) was confusing. Hopefully this direct info will help others. Once figured this out, obtaining, using, and returning keys was just fine.Other than those three things that aren't obvious from description, solid property. I will say, 6 guests on 3 beds is doable but likely uncomfortable. Ideal for 1-4 guests IMO.
