BELMONT PARK
Founded in 1925, Belmont Park is a beachfront amusement park and home to the historic Giant Dipper roller coaster and Plunge swimming pool. The Giant Dipper is a 2,600-foot-long wooden coaster and reaches speeds up to 48 mph. Enjoy more than a dozen thrilling rides, attractions, casual restaurants and gift shops. Entrance admission and parking are free.
THE PLUNGE®
Originally built in 1925, The Plunge is newly renovated historic beachside pool in the heart of Mission Beach located in Belmont Park at the Fit Athletic Club., in the heart of Mission Beach. The pool includes historical features from the original structure but now features a contemporary design with floor-to-ceiling glass walls for ocean views and a retractable roof! Swim passes for The Plunge at Fit are available to general public and can be purchased on-site at the north entrance of the pool.
MISSION BEACH BOARDWALK
Also known as Oceanfront Boardwalk, the Mission Beach Boardwalk is a concrete walkway that spans about 3.5 miles from North Pacific Beach to South Mission Beach. Stroll along the scenic waterfront path that’s popular with tourists and locals alike and take in the sights. Enjoy biking, skating, skateboarding and jogging. A variety of bike and skate rentals are located nearby. Our favorite is CHEAP RENTALS – mention you’re staying with the San Diego Beach King for discounts.

A fantastic stay in a perfect location. The property was clean, well-appointed, and just steps from the water. The owner was incredibly welcoming and even helped us with our luggage upon arrival. We highly recommend this place and look forward to returning next summer. 10/10

I've been vacationing in San Diego for 20 years now, and I've dealt with a lot of different hosts and properties. By far, Maurice is the best host ever! The property is in an incredible location right on the beach, close to everything and the view is amazing. We had a small issue with a light fixture and Maurice came and fixed it personally! When we decided to stay another day but our property was booked, Maurice arranged for another property for us, right across the alley! Our vacation has been amazing thanks to Maurice and his amazing property! 10 out of 10 stars!!!
