古都庵Koto-an Japanese Town house

共同とはいえトイレが2箇所あり、 浴室も湯船大きくゆっくりできました。町家の造りも初めてで珍しかった。

受付が宿と離れていて少し分かりずらかった。

Cleanliness - shared bathroom is clean “enough” but our room wasn’t properly clean (black hair everywhere, and little dusty) Hard mattresses and even harder pillow

It was clean and quiet

The one they put us in, DO NOT correspond to the images displayed here in Booking so I think that is not okay, because you went there expecting a lovely garden and a proper Japanese style house and nope, it is nothing like the pictures, is just an average House with shared facilities.

Good location, cool vibe and nice little room.

If your room is on the street level, be warned that there is nothing separating you from the street noise except windows. If you're a light sleeper you will not sleep in or get an early night. You'll also be able to clearly hear the other guests in the adjacent rooms, including walking above you, suitcases moving around, etc.
