The Space:
Located just west of Tempe city proper in the neighborhood of Sunset, you’ll be surrounded by vibrant scenes of shopping, dining, and nightlife. Plan a day trip into Phoenix or north to Scottsdale, both less than 20 minutes away. A visit to the Phoenix Zoo will take you less than a 10-minute drive or pack a picnic and head to Tempe Beach Park in under 3 minutes. If you’re a Sun Devil fan in town to watch a thrilling game at Arizona State University or visiting friends or family on campus, you’ll be less than 5 minutes away. With so many options and places to explore, it’s hard to imagine how much time you’ll actually spend back at home… until you see it, that is!

A cozy living room features a plush sofa with bookend chaise lounges to kick up your feet and catch up on your reading after a long day on the town. This property suited my needs beautifully. Its location is minutes to Sky Harbor Airport, Fry's grocery store, Walmarts, hospitals, and a plethora of fun places for adults, for children, and for families to enjoy. The large corner lot with a fenced backyard adorned with lush, cool, artificial turf, and a covered, floored, furnished patio was our favorite hangout when "home." The home itself is spacious, climate controlled, comfortable and secure. My three year old and six year old granddaughters loved running relay races on the turf outside and up and down the hall inside. I loved them being able to play and to audibley express their joy inside without disturbing neighbors. In short, it was the perfect home in the perfect location for my daughter, granddaughters, and myself. I'm hoping it's available the next time we visit Tempe and surrounding areas.

Overall, we had a fantastic stay. There were a few minor issues such as a missing knob on the stove, the back sliding glass door did not lock, but there was a large stick to keep the door from being open, the bottom drawer in the refrigerator was broken, the water pressure in the showers was minimal, and some items in the house need some updating. The house is clean, but there are some fixtures that are older and well used.The air conditioner kept the house cool and that was a blessing. The neighborhood where the home is located is quiet and safe. It is close to the Phoenix sky Harbor Airport, but we never heard the noise of the airplanes. The grand welcome agency was fairly responsive and easy to communicate with. We had 8 people in the home and it was very comfortable. We enjoyed our stay in Tempe and are thankful for the accommodations.

The outdoor spaces were great for gathering. We had several small issues which we addressed directly. One caution - if you want to be near the airport, expect planes flying over.
