In winter, the surroundings transform into a true snowy fairy tale: Ski slopes, winter hiking trails, and cross-country ski trails are right on your doorstep. And if you want to experience the real Allgäu, be sure to come in the fall for the traditional Viehscheid, when decorated cows make their way back down from the Alps into the valley.
