Cute 2 story, minimalist house, with lots of gadgets located just outside Ueno. Somehow they managed to fit everything in - washing machine, 2 toilets, kitchem and accesories and even a small bath. The house is very clean and cozy, beds are comfortable. Nice little undercover row of shops with a really nice sushi stand just a few minutes walk away.
Its a bit far from transport (10 to 15 min. Walk, dependinf what line you need). The stairs to the top floor of the house make it inaccessible. Also, the main door opens right onto the main street. Was fine for us but could be troubling with young children. During our stay, We got locked out of the house for 2 hours due to a malfunctioning lock. This caused us to be late for our dinner reservation. The owner/management didnt offer any compensation, not even a gesture of late checkout or something similar, which was a but dissapointing.
