Unfortunately, this was one of the worst accommodation experiences we’ve had by far!
The location is very convenient, just off Krakow’s main historic square, but that was about the only positive for us. The apartment is located near two nightclubs, and the noise was absolutely unbelievable. Even with the double-pane windows closed, the bass and dance music were so loud that the windows were literally rattling. Earplugs didn’t come close to helping. The music continued until nearly 4:00 a.m., and we got virtually no sleep. Anyone considering renting this apartment should be very aware of the nighttime noise.
The mattress was also extremely uncomfortable and left me with a very sore back.
Then there was the toilet paper situation. We were provided with only about 1½ rolls for our stay. When we contacted the host and asked for more, we were told they were unable to accommodate the request. Seriously? Providing sufficient toilet paper seems like one of the most basic expectations when renting an apartment.
Between the incredibly loud nightclub noise, the uncomfortable mattress, the lack of sleep, and the refusal to provide something as basic as additional toilet paper, this was an extremely disappointing stay. We would not stay here again.
