An older Dutch house in a pleasant location with beautiful grounds and a kind and helpful host. Simple continental breakfast with fresh warm bread and croissants.
The walls between the rooms were thin so a neighbour asked me to turn down my phone as it was too noisy! I used headphones after that.
A shared bathroom was located down the hallway. Fortunately, I brought my own shower gel etc. as none was provided. I would recommend providing a simple robe and slippers to get between the shower and bedroom comfortably. My room was directly above the breakfast room so was quiet noisy in the morning as there were a lot of guests.
