Overall cleanliness and helpful, friendly staff. Free weights in exercise room; dumbbells up to 75 pounds. Overall room comfort (bed, walk in shower).

Nick picky stuff: Single light switch in bathroom automatically turns on the fan with the lights. Separate switches would be better; fan is loud and not always necessary. For taller folks, the short commode is annoying, uncomfortable. All the cool stuff to do in KC is a 20+ minute car ride away.

Easy access

Have someone answer the damn phone with no automation. Was running late and just confirming my stay about 20 phone calls with listening to a bunch of bull shit before the right person finally answered

They said they had a flood and the one room we were supposed to be in was closed. Interestingly enough, the parking lot was absolutely full. I only found 3 spots and 2 of them had cars parked across the lines. They said they tried to call and send me messages, but there was no voicemail. I was on a flight and didn't get to the hotel til around 1am. After circling the lot and finally finding a spot, We unloaded everything and walked inside, only to find out that we didn't have a room there. They had relocated us across the highway. That ended up being a terrible thing for us. They booked us into a room that made us walk a very long way to the elevator and another really long way to our room. My son has a hard time walking, so this was difficult for him. Then our door was stuck and made very loud noises opening and closing...after 1 am. The family in the adjoining room wasn't too happy about it. I explained it to the front desk girl and she just laughed. All in all...not a great stay.
