University Inn & Suites Berkeley

Bed was comfortable, room clean, TV did not work well, bathroom appeared clean.

Old elevator and hall way carpets, also carpet in my room had a hole in it.

The staff was so kind and the gm assisted so kindly. Thank you Mike. We will stay there again.

We have no complaints. The kindness of staff stood out and nothing else was a problem.

Location is very convenient, a few blocks from 4th St. and San Pablo Ave., and right on the bus line to downtown/campus. My room was very quiet, bed was comfortable. Decent sized and recently updated bathroom. The man who checked me in at 10pm was very kind.

The breakfast was a little sparse -- a waffle maker, pastries/bagels, and cold cereal. But it was nice to have free breakfast. The layout of my room (at the end of the hall) was a little unsettling with a tiled corridor between the door and the bedroom.

It’s a very cool old hotel

The pool was ice cold and closed at 5 PM! there was no place to sit outside once that gate was locked. The towels were very rough. we could hear the people above us walking around at 3 AM.
