Howard Johnson by Wyndham Branson Theatre District

I planned this trip for my wife's birthday. I planned everything, and the room was everything I hoped. It was spacious, the bed was super soft, and very clean and maintained. And the location was excellent. 10 minutes from everything. And the staff I delt with and talked to were very polite and welcoming.

When pulling up, the outside of the property looks questionable. Other than that, the tub. It was clean, but it was dated and discolored. Maybe update the bathroom.

The room was comfortable; about average in most ways, but the beds were comfortable with nice pillows. The refrigerator kept our food cold. The hair dryer didn't work and I forgot to tell management. The management honored our request to get us a room near the indoor pool and that mean't a lot to our young son. Breakfast wasn't fancy but it was hot and tasted really good. There were biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, sausage, a waffle maker, some muffins, apples, etc. Juice, tea, coffee, etc. We were comfortable and enjoyed our stay. It's not a 5 star hotel but the price reflects that and the staff were all nice and polite. We hope to stay there again.

The hair dryer didn't work but other than that, everything was fine.

The location was fine. The breakfast could use some protein, the room was comfortable and clean, but the noise level of the “extended guests”, of which there were many….made the stay concerning. Overall, was an acceptable place to stay

I didn’t like the long term guests being there. It made us feel as if we were visiting someone’s home as they definitely dominated areas like the pool and breakfast area. Plus little kids running around at 10 pm.

Big rooms

Nasty carpet, smoking people standing at every doorway. Dirt floors in hallways. Outside looked like a homeless camp.
