It felt safe
Having stairs to anywhere I wanted to go…my room, the ice machine….

The location was perfect.
The smell of smoke from the smoking rooms. The hallway carpet smelled of old smoke and marijuana.

Staff was very friendly.
Stairwells were stifling, halls were not air conditioned. Because we had a small pet were put on the 3rd floor despite the hotel being nearly empty and even after informing them I had knee surgery earlier this year. “Free breakfast” was a crunchy granola bar with room temperature pineapple juice.
