The Coolidge Corner Guest House: A Brookline Bed and Breakfast

There are very few small places in the Boston area to stay. Parking is a plus and the price was better than a big hotel. Nice breakfast and kitchen. Safe neighborhood.

Fantastic location, beautiful and safe neighborhood, close to train and buses. Good continental breakfast. Very clean.

3rd floor , steep stairs. The floor creaks loudly with every step. The mattress is too soft

A very charming old property, full of characters and history. The room and bathroom are very clean. The location is perfect for our needs, just a short walk to restaurants and shops and tram stops.

The noisy floor boards, the steep stairs and the old bed/mattress which doesn't support well.

The building was cute.

I had to pay separate for a shower/toilet if I wanted one. The stairs were crowded/small especially when carrying luggage. I would have loved to talk with the owners and learn more about the city and things to do. Staying in a place with several others, I thought it would be nice to talk with everyone, but it’s as if everyone were in their own worlds. Parking ( if I had been able to get it ) was not good. You have to park behind others. Since I could not get parking, I had to pay separately for parking.
