The perfect "home base" for travel in Budapest. It's not a luxurious stay or anything, and if you have 3 in your party (as we did), you might find quarters tight in the kitchen especially. But that's hardly a problem if you're planning to spend most of your time around the city; the beds are comfortable, Ferdinando is a responsive and communicative host, and the location cannot be beaten. Right off Vaci utca, a mere 5-minute walk to the Danube, multiple tram and metro stops in easy walking distance, but the street and courtyard itself is quiet and private. A dream spot, and a steal of a price; I will hope this is an option again whenever I come back.

Great location at a good price with the best host I have had so far. Shops restaurant and coffee shops all nearby. My wife also adds cozy and safe. Thanks Ferdinando for being a great host.

Overall we had a good stay. Our host was very nice and responsive. The apartment could use a little bit of updating, newer towels and a deep clean to get rid of the cobwebs for example. We would recommend this place and go back again.

We always read reviews. They were very good. We would like to validate them and tell you in heat of the summer the unit was cool without air conditioning. We never even had to turn on the fans.We highly recommend this unitT and B Zana
