This place was so nice to stay. Location was great! It’s really only a 3 bedroom with a pull out sofa but there is a second apartment that they allowed us to use which was nice! Host was great! Would recommend to anyone!

Olga’s place is a wonderful green oasis in Venice. We had 10 guests in 5 rooms, one with 2 separate beds, and there was the option of an additional fold out couch for another couple had we needed it. There is a lovely garden with a pair of resident tortoises, places to sit outside and a kitchen sufficiently well appointed to enable us to cook for 10, and a table large enough to seat us. The apartment is wonderfully situated, a short walk from Piazzale Roma, and from San Basilio. We loved the neighbourhood.Francesca arranged a water taxi for us, met us as we arrived and showed us around. Francesca, Olga and Gina (the housekeeper) were all extremely responsive whenever we encountered any issues. This was my second visit to Olga’s Casa, and I very much hope to return. Had a wonderful stay with my friends that flew in for Carnivale. The accommodations are exactly as pictured and the area was quiet and clean, away from the madness. My only issue was the washer/dryer and oven not working but it took nothing away from the trip. One of the beds was a tad old and not fit to be used but we had extra room take up so my friend used another bed. Overall, adored this place. Can’t recommend it enough!

The main apartment was really lovely but the 4th bedroom in the downstairs studio was unusable. The bed was covered in flaking plaster from the ceiling so we couldn't use it in case it fell on us while sleeping. The room smelled very badly of mould as well. The position of the apartment in Venice was great - away from the crowded areas. The air-conditioning in the living area didnt work the whole time we were there. The co-host said the repairman would fix the next day. Every day we were told the same thing with no-one ever turning up. This was disappointing as we paid for air-conditioning but only had it in the bedrooms.
