This was a great place to stay, not far off the tourist trails, but quiet enough that we were able to relax. The host was so helpful and made our stay very easy. there's a small supermarket just on the corner and you are conveniently located between the Arsenale and San Marco

The apartment is close to the Arsenale vaperetto stop but it is tucked away on a quiet side street. It is a short walk to St Mark’s square along the Grand Canal. The vapetto’s will take you all around to the different islands, check out the website lovevenice.net for nice vaperetto maps and time schedules. We visited Murano and Burrano. We ate at Al Vecio Portal which is just around the corner and it was delicious! There is a great bakery near the grocery store with good hot chocolate and pastries. The stairs are steep to get up to the apartment, but it is well furnished and had what we needed. We loved our stay in Venice!
